Welcome to Our Special Education Resource Hub

My Purpose

My purpose is to help families navigate the special education process and better understand how to support their child with an active voice. I advocate for family and child/student rights and resolve issues every step of the way.

I have over two decades of classroom teaching experience, with 17 of those years as a Self-Contained Special Education teacher. I was appointed the Self-Contained Special Education Team Leader for my district and the Special Education Coordinator for my school building, where I facilitated collaboration and curriculum alignment across schools. I have also been on the parent side of Special Education regarding my own children and know how intimidating the experience can be.
